DR. RACHAEL ALEXANDROFF

You have reached the website of Dr. Rachael Alexandroff-- NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics and the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics.

I work in extragalactic astronomy and in particular I research the impact of supermassive black holes on their host galaxies (quasar feedback). I love all things black hole-related from the search for active black holes, or active galactic nuclei (AGN) to their effect on galaxy evolution.

I previously completed my PhD at Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of Dr. Nadia Zakamska and now hold a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto.
